Dave's Tip

When I purchased my first Ford Model A, I knew very little about this wonderful car.

I obtained as many books as possible which over the years, has taught me a tremendous amount of knowledge on early Ford cars & pickups.

If there are books available on your particular vintage or classic car, they should be in your bookcase.

With some of the technical books, I have two copies, one in the house and one in the garage. (This way, one book can be grubby and one can be pristine).

I have also sourced some technical DVD's. These are not blockbuster movie quality, but are made by some of the local American car clubs and are highly informative. If you are considering carrying out technical work on your early Fords, these DVD's are a great asset to your technical manuals collection.
